Midland's 107,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Civic Arena opened its doors in September 2005 to ice skaters of all types; both recreational and competitive skaters, figure skaters, speed skaters, and hockey players. Check out the arena by clicking the YouTube video below.

The facility features three skating rinks - two NHL and one Olympic-sized. The MCA houses a full service Pro Shop that’s stocked with all the necessary equipment and supplies to make your ice experience enjoyable. There’s also a skate rental room, concession area, conference rooms, arcade, mezzanine area, and the Midland County Sports Hall of Fame.

The MCA programming includes Youth and Adult Hockey Programs, Learn to Skate Classes, Figure Skating, Speed Skating, Public Skating, Drop-in Hockey, Skill Clinics, Tournaments, Broomball, and dry floor events.

The MCA is anticipated to have over 650,000 visitors per year. We pride ourselves on having a clean and safe environment that is fueled by our excellent staff and the many fine amenities we have to offer.

The arena is located in the beautiful city of Midland, Michigan, a world-class city with a small-town feel.

We are easily accessible from major highways (US-10 and I-75) and near many entertainment venues such as golf courses, theatres, shopping centers, bowling alleys, fine and casual dining, and chain and local hotels.
