Midland Civic Arena… Figure Skating

Host of multiple national, regional, state and local events in hockey, figure skating and speed skating.

The MCA is a great place to figure skate. Not only do we offer a wide variety of options, but also a clean arena with a large locker room dedicated to the Midland Figure Skating Club. The Pro Shop is there to satisfy all of your figure skating needs.

We’ve hosted multiple invitational competitions like “Skate Midland”, Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) district and state tournaments, and we were the site of the 2008 Eastern Great Lakes Regional Competition.

The Midland Figure Skating Club offers a complete and comprehensive instructional program. Both group and private lessons are offered. Whether you are a beginner or advanced skater, there’s a program for you! Not only does the Club teach the necessary skating skills, but they also make it fun in the process.

The MFSC is celebrating 50 years of skating in Midland. During this time, we have had many regional and national champions among our individual and synchronized skating team skaters. We have also had thousands of Basic Skills, Snowplow Sam (preschool), and Families skating in our Learn to Skate programs.
